Ski Chalets in La Rosiere

La Rosiere is a southerly French Alpine resort, which borders the Italian Alps.  The purpose built resort links well with La Thuile, in Italy, to offer more than 150km of marked piste. There is a good range of skiing which should keep most happy, although experts looking for a challenge may have to seek out the off piste runs through the trees around La Thuile. The nursery slopes at La Rosiere are excellent. Off of the slopes, La Rosiere is a modern resort but at the same time is quite attractive. Nightlife is more subdued than other Alpine resorts but there are plenty of places to eat and drink.

La Rosiere’s location gives it the added advantage of encompassing weather systems from both Italy and France. Often La Rosiere has above average snowfalls for the region, sometimes with snow falling as late as the end of April. La Rosiere and Les Eucherts form a pretty, south facing resort that catches plenty of sunshine.
