Ski Chalets in Bansko

pistemap

Located at the foot of the beautiful Pirin Mountains in Bulgaria, Bansko is a traditional town that has recently developed into a superb ski centre. With 65 kilometres of marked ski runs and some great off-piste, all abilities of skiers are well catered for. This rapidly expanding resort manages to retain a mixture of old world charm along with all its modernity. Offering Alpine quality at Bulgarian prices, it is little wonder that Bansko has become a firm favourite.

Bansko offers fantastic opportunities for beginners, and English speaking ski instruction is available.  The ski area is a paradise for the intermediate skier. The picturesque runs are well maintained and many of the descents are wide and tree-lined. Bansko also offers a fantastic 16km non-stop run from the top of the Todorka peak, right to the base of the gondola station at the head of the resort. The last 7km of this piste is floodlit, and much of the mountain is now equipped with snow cannons, making for great skiing throughout the season.
