Chalet La Luge is a stunning modern chalet offering fantastic views from the large picture windows and stylish accommodation with all the features you would expect from a luxury chalet. 
The chalet is run by the owners and has been carefully designed for maximum comfort.  There’s a great hot tub on the terrace, and a sauna inside.  All of the 6 rooms are ensuite and can be arranged with super-king size double or with twin beds.  In addition 2 of the rooms have optional bunk beds making the accommodation suitable for groups of up to 16. Heated rails for the quality fluffy towels and bathrobes are fitted in all bathrooms and there is underfloor heating throughout.
Upstairs on the mezzanine there is a separate TV room, with big flat screen, Wii, DVDs and UK channels.  In the open plan living / dining area are squashy leather sofas in front of the blazing log fire, and a lovely square dining table with plenty of room for everyone. Top class catering with cooked breakfast, afternoon tea and cakes every day; carefully prepared and beautifully presented 4/5 course evening meals with canapes beforehand on 6 nights. Selected bottled wine served throughout dinner.

La Tzoumaz is a picturesque resort within easy reach of Geneva and Sion airports and has high-speed gondola and chairlift access to Verbier and the rest of the 4 Vallees region. North-facing slopes ensure a long season and great snow conditions right down to the village at 1500m. La Tzoumaz has varied well-groomed pistes for beginners and intermediates, with extensive quiet off-piste through the forest or down Vallon d'Arbi for that late afternoon run home.  A good selection of bars, restaurants and a night club is enough for most.

Cours de Godille w/c 19th January 2011

The ‘Cours de Godille’ is 5 days of skiing delight. The aim of the week is to have fun while discovering the fantastic local ski area, both on and off piste. This is not a hard core off piste or backcountry course but a chance to discover some excellent skiing with local guides whilst making new friends and enjoying a glass or 2 of wine. On the Sunday evening at Le Pistard (bar/cafe in the village centre) you will meet with your guides and the other skiers over a glass of local wine. At this time everyone will be allocated to their groups although this may be fine-tuned when skiing starts on Monday morning. The course finishes on Friday afternoon. The minimum requirement for the course is that you can ski parallel turns on a red piste and in poor conditions if necessary. All of the guides are ski instructors with the local ski school so you will get some good pointers to improve your technique in all conditions in an informal way. There will be fantastic descents off the beaten track which may require some hiking, so a reasonable level of fitness is required, but the payoff is always worth it and if there is powder to be found then you will find it. With the knowledge of your guides you’ll discover some excellent local restaurants for something special at lunchtime and it is expected that the group pay for the guides’ lunch. 
At Chalet La Luge we are offering this course at no extra cost over the standard holiday price for the week commencing 19th Jan. As usual, on one night you will be expected to eat out.
Not included in the cost of your holiday: your lift pass, but is available at a special discounted price; there will be a small charge for transport on one day when we aim to ski further afield. Last year they went through the Mont Blanc tunnel to Courmayeur in Italy - don't forget your passport!!!
